With the conference coming to an end we all returned to our
rooms and dressed in our glad rags and headed to the bus for
a trip to The Tivoli. The night started and I was enjoying good
food, wine and the company of great friends I have made over the
past four years of coming to this conference. I've got to tell you
though that all changed when I was called to the stage by our en-
tertainer for the night Adam Dean. It was a great show that would
have been better if I wasn't drawn into it, [Aw Bob, but you were
so great up there! - Ed] but laughs were had and I continued to
drink and enjoy the entertainment once arriving back to the table.
The Not-For-Profit Network Awards were presented, and there's
just too many for me to remember the winner's names, [You can
find these on page 9 - Ed] but I would like to congratulate all the
finalists and winners. At the finish of the night we had a noisy but
enjoyable bus ride back to our hotels.
I would like to congratulate Glen, Sharon, Alisha and all the other
members of the NFPN team for a great job, and I look forward to
seeing everyone again next year. n
